TAXI — 2026

Facing high regulatory pressure and unstable profitability, entrepreneurs in the taxi sector are actively seeking ways to adapt, diversify as well as enter international markets. According to the Public Council for the Development of Taxi, by the end of 2024 nearly half of taxi fleets are operating at break-even and about 20% of companies are already considering international expansion as a promising direction.

During the conference participants will discuss not only the current state of the industry in Russia and globally, but will also develop proposals to improve the regulatory environment, modernize business through technology and enhance international integration.

A key highlight of the event will be the plenary session, where the results of an analytical study of the taxi market, conducted by the Public Council for the Development of Taxi together with the Center for Strategic Research, will be presented. The report includes scenario-based forecasts with socio-economic implications for the regions and outlines possible directions for regulation and business support.
